2011 Calendar
Every year we like to design a quirky calendar. While last year’s grand plan of pairing hip hop lyrics and national holidays didn’t exactly work out, we’re really excited to show off what we’ve come up with for 2011.
This petite and sophisticated desktop calendar doesn’t involve any clunky plastic contraptions or require any holes in your wall. Using only elements from our favorite typeface of 2010 (Eames by House Industries, inspired by the greatness of Charles and Ray Eames), we’ve boiled the calendar down to 12 simple cards and a magnificent wooden block.
Following feedback from our fans, the cards have been printed with two inks—a bright green apple and a spicy chili red. When overprinted, these colors create a beautiful warm mahogany color that allows this combo to adapt for all four seasons.
We loved these calendars so much, this year we decided to make a limited quantity available for sale!
